Journey Updates

We are going into the end of week 4 now. It has been busy and I haven't gotten to this page as much as I would've liked.

Week 1 was on Hearing God's voice.

Week 2 was on God's Character and Nature.

Week 3 was on Evangelism.

and Week 4 has been Bible overview.

So far I have been able to take the knowledge that God has bestowed unto me to help answer questions, share my story, interpret some things, add other's perspectives onto mine to build a better idea all together.

We have a schedule for the week and it is overall the same, but the lectures and stuff changes weekly.

Every day starts at 7:30am with work duties, I am on the boys bathroom duty.

We then get quiet time with God for an hour, it can look however you and the Lord want to hang out. I typically do a prayer Journal, read a chapter or 2 of the Word and study it, then watch a church message or podcast and compare them to what I have been learning and apply them to my life.

Monday we have campus worship and work duties.

Tuesday we have school intercession prayer and small group.

Wednesday is school worship and then community night.

Thursday is Campus intercession.

Friday is Snowboarding/Mountain Evangelism.

Saturday we stay in town with the Pastor and His Wife and snowboard as well if the hill provides good weather.

Sunday is fully free and typically starts with Church Service.

We also are on dinner dishes almost every night, just excluding the days we are gone.

My team consists of 7 people, 3 staff and us 4 students.

The DTS leader is Grace and the 2 staff are Dan and Emily.

The students are Bella, Ethan, and Lucas.

The boys and I all share a room that is known as the hotbox on base. But it actually gets pretty cold since its winter.

Weather has been nice, but also has been raining a lot, but good for the snow.

Also Lucas and Bella got baptized, so praise the Lord for that.

That is just a brief look at what are day to day looks like, feel free to reach out if you have any questions on what a day routine, evangelism, off day, or whatever you would like to ask about! I am busy most of the time, but will respond when I get the chance!

The time difference is a day ahead, but just look at it as 5 hours behind what you are at and the next day. If it is 5pm Sunday here, it is 10pm Saturday back home!

Below are some photos of the base and of Oxford itself!

I am also adding more photos in general here and there outside the updates.
